Ceiling and wall plasterer wanted in Saint John the Baptist Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Your main tasks: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Rotating shifts. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
