Refrigeration and AC mechanic • Aitkin County, Minnesota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Aitkin County, Minnesota. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Day to day you will check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution. Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade 4+ years on the tools preferred.
