GMAW welder • Texas County, Oklahoma

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Texas County, Oklahoma. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
