Elevator repair technician • Lake County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Lake County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
