Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Howard County, Iowa. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day to day you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Performance bonus on top of base pay.
