Immediate opening: construction mazdoor (New York)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Saratoga County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
