Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe operator in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up What we are looking for: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Full-time, day shift.
