Bar bender and fixer • Washington County, Oregon

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Washington County, Oregon. Your main tasks: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Full-time, day shift. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
