Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Okrika, Rivers State. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. ₦205,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
