Immediate opening: garment machinist (Arkansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Cross County, Arkansas. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
