Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. The role involves rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
