We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in City and Borough of Wakefield, England. You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Rotating shifts.
