Turning centre operator — Oglala Lakota County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Oglala Lakota County, South Dakota. The role involves: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Full-time with occasional weekends.
