Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Schuyler County, Illinois. The job is at an accident repair centre. Day to day you will set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio. Requirements: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending 6+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
