Safety officer wanted in Ogle County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in Ogle County, Illinois. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Day-to-day duties: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
