Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Stevens County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Stevens County, Minnesota. Day to day you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
