Argon arc welder — Southampton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Southampton County, Virginia. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
