You should have: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic The role involves dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; check walls for plumb and level as you go.
