Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Moultrie County, Illinois. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage The role involves float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
