Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in City and Borough of Leeds, England. The job is at a wholesale meat market. The role involves keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Six days a week, one day off.
