Great opportunity: foundry operative (Utah)

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Juab County, Utah. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
