Horticulturist — Livingston Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on the grounds of a hotel resort. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Day-to-day duties: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
