What we are looking for: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) The role involves: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
