Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Van Buren County, Michigan. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
