Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Brookings County, South Dakota. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day to day you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
