Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Fluvanna County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Six days a week, one day off.
