We are recruiting: we are hiring a butcher in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. You will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
