Glass and glazing technician — Pittsylvania County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. You will be based at a glass and aluminium factory. Requirements: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units The role involves: • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
