Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a container port. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
