Join our team: we are hiring a lift erector in Craig County, Virginia. You will be based in a residential tower block. Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Your main tasks: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
