MIG/MAG welder • Jersey County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Jersey County, Illinois. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
