Immediate opening: natural gas fitter (Hawaii)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Kalawao County, Hawaii. On a typical shift you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Performance bonus on top of base pay.
