Lift installation engineer wanted in Sunderland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Sunderland, England. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer £3,150 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
