Concrete placer • Whatcom County, Washington

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete placer in Whatcom County, Washington. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Your main tasks: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
