Trowel-trade bricklayer — Kiowa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Kiowa County, Oklahoma. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Six days a week, one day off.
