Now hiring: tyre service technician (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Powell County, Kentucky. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. You will check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres. You should have: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Awareness of workshop health and safety 6+ years on the tools preferred.
