Steel fixer — Meeker County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Meeker County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
