Sheet metal welder — Lampasas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lampasas County, Texas. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
