Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Pondera County, Montana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp.
