Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Winn Parish, Louisiana. On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
