Structural MIG welder wanted in Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Madison County, Illinois. The job is at a busy production line. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
