Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Floyd County, Indiana. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
