Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Randolph County, North Carolina. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Full-time, day shift. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
