Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Stokes County, North Carolina. The role involves climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
