Immediate opening: we are hiring a beldar in Randolph County, Alabama. The job is on a commercial building project. On the job you will handle: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio 5+ years on the tools preferred.
