Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Roanoke County, Virginia. You will work at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
