Great opportunity: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Dorchester County, Maryland. The job is on a quarry floor. Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Rotating shifts.
