We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Johnston County, North Carolina. The role involves grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
