Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Pamlico County, North Carolina. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
