Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. The role involves erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
